San Buenaventura Heritage, Inc.

San Buenaventura Heritage, Inc. is the nonprofit group that was established to care for the historic Dudley House and Museum. While the house is owned by the city, the site is maintained by an all-volunteer group which was formed when the city determined the project would not be a municipal priority. This public partnership has thrived over the years and the beautiful house and grounds are truly a public asset, open for tours and available for rent to the community. *We also have a special fund set up for our handicapped lift. In order to bring wheelchair-bound visitors to the Dudley House and comply with the Americans for Disabilities Act, the Dudley House must have a lift to the second floor. The lift we currently have is no longer operational. Our current target to raise money for a new lift is $25,000.
